TBC Bank Uzbekistan Named a Top-Three Banking Brand Nationwide — RGCA

TBC Bank Uzbekistan has entered the country’s top three banking brands, with the strongest recognition in Tashkent, according to Research Group Central Asia’s (RGCA) 2025 Brand Health Tracking report.

Conducted in Q3 2025 across roughly 2,000 adults who use banking or payment apps, the study ranked TBC third in overall brand awareness among the top 15 banks. Unaided awareness reached 11%, while 29% recognised the brand when prompted. Respondents also rated the bank highly for reliability and convenience, citing improvements in its mobile app and service quality. Usage in the past three months rose alongside a growing customer base.

«We’re more than just a bank… Consumers are resonating strongly with our fully digital approach,» said Nodira Sultankhodjaeva, Marketing Director at TBC Uzbekistan.

RGCA’s report also highlighted the strength of TBC Uzbekistan’s payments app Payme, with total brand awareness above 70%, placing it among the top two payment services nationwide and number one in Tashkent (top-of-mind at 19%).

RGCA tracks Brand Awareness, Usage, Consideration, Customer Satisfaction (CSI) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) at regular intervals to monitor shifts in consumer preference as competition intensifies in financial services.
