Woman Transforms £240 P. Louise Advent Calendar into Polar Express Train
A woman has been praised online after transforming her 2024 £240 P. Louise advent calendar into a stunning Christmas train, perfect for decorating under her tree.
Han shared the process on TikTok, showing how she repurposed the cardboard train into a mini Polar Express. She explained that she wanted a large decoration after previously spending £50 on a smaller train that did not meet her expectations.
«I want something for under my tree absolutely massive,» she said. «So here goes nothing!»
Han began by removing the windows of the train and spray painting it navy blue. She added battery-operated LED lights, purchased for just £1.29 from The Range, placing them in each carriage. Finally, she applied a Polar Express sticker to the front, completing the transformation.
«I really wish it was dark when I made this video so I could show you what it looked like in the dark,» Han said. «Literally my vision of what I wanted underneath my tree is this. I still need to paint underneath the train and touch up in a few places, but oh my God, imagine this in the pitch dark underneath my Christmas tree!»
Han has also created other festive decorations, including giant hot chocolates made from plastic buckets, complete with whipped cream and candy canes.
TikTok viewers were impressed by her ingenuity.
«This is SO cute,» one wrote, while another suggested adding fake snow and tiny polar bears inside the train. Han responded: «Oh I love this idea!»
Others praised her creativity, noting the Polar Express vibe and the skill behind the project.
