Riyadh 2025: Ilya Sibircev and Eldor Usmonov Deliver Two Gold Medals for Uzbekistan in Swimming

At the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan’s swimming team continues its strong performance, adding two more gold medals to the country’s tally.

In the 400m freestyle event, Ilya Sibircev secured a decisive victory, earning the gold medal — his second medal of the tournament.

Shortly after, Eldor Usmonov reinforced the team’s success by taking first place in the 100m butterfly. Usmonov outpaced his closest competitors, bringing home another gold for Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek swimming team added two gold medals in a single day, further strengthening its position in the overall medal standings of the Islamic Solidarity Games.

Kursiv Uzbekistan reports that at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan’s swimmers capped off their performance with a bronze medal in the men’s 4×100m freestyle relay.
