Core AI Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHAI) has announced plans to build a network of AI data centres, starting with projects in Uzbekistan and Malaysia. The company, valued at $46.33 mln, has seen its share price fall sharply over the past year, although it has recorded a small rebound in recent days.

Core AI aims to secure multi-billion-dollar partnerships with governments, private investors and global banks. It expects to reveal timelines and investment plans by early 2026.

Malaysia’s data centre market is expanding rapidly, supported by a $150 bn technology agreement with the United States. Uzbekistan is also developing its data centre capacity as part of its ambition to become Central Asia’s IT and AI hub.

CEO Aitan Zacharin said AI infrastructure will shape progress across industries and highlighted plans to build a global network in cooperation with public and private partners.

The company currently operates through its gaming subsidiary, Core Gaming, which has produced more than 2,200 titles and reached over 800 million downloads. Despite strong revenue growth, Core AI remains loss-making and carries indicators of financial strain.

The firm is also expanding into AI-driven music creation through its new platform LikeMusic.ai, and aims to reach $300 mln in annual revenue within three years.
