Uzbekistan Airways has reached an agreement with Chinese leasing company CALC to acquire four new Airbus A321neo aircraft. Letters of intent have been signed, with deliveries expected between 2027 and 2028.

The aircraft will feature a two-class layout and the next-generation Airspace Premium cabin, equipped with a modern entertainment system and high-speed Wi-Fi. Uzbekistan Airways has been working with CALC for several years, and this deal forms part of its long-term fleet renewal programme for 2026–2028.

Under the plan, the airline will receive a total of six A321neo jets from CALC, bringing the total number of this model in the fleet to 15.

Shukhrat Khudaikulov, Chairman of Uzbekistan Airways, said the company is steadily modernising its fleet, introducing new technologies and improving passenger service. He added that the A321neo combines efficiency, advanced technical features and passenger comfort.

Kursiv also reports that Uzbekistan Airways posted a net profit of 710.2 bn soums ($59.2 mln) in the first nine months of 2025, marking a 44% increase from last year.
