Uzbekistan’s national athletics team continued its strong run at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, claiming both gold and silver in the men’s decathlon.
Nodir Norboev secured the gold medal, finishing first across the full decathlon program. His teammate, Zakhiriddin Shokirov, delivered an impressive performance to take silver, giving Uzbekistan a double podium in the same event.
The success adds to the country’s growing medal tally at the Games, where Uzbek athletes have already earned multiple podium finishes in athletics.
