
Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airlines is introducing new direct connections from Turkestan’s Hazret Sultan International Airport to three cities in Uzbekistan: Urgench, Bukhara and Samarkand. Tickets are already on sale.
The Turkestan to Urgench service begins on December 1 with flights scheduled for Monday, Friday and Sunday. The Turkestan to Bukhara route opens on December 2 and will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Regular flights linking Turkestan and Samarkand start on December 3 with services planned for Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Kursiv also reports that Uzbek airline Qanot Sharq has announced the launch of regular flights on the Tashkent–London–Tashkent route.
