Gulshan Alimardonova claimed gold in the women’s under-50 kg category at the World Karate Championships in Cairo, delivering Uzbekistan its first-ever world title in women’s karate.
In the final, the Uzbek fighter faced Malaysia’s representative. Alimardonova dominated the bout with sharp timing, precise strikes, and complete control from start to finish, securing a clear victory.
Throughout the tournament she displayed composure, accuracy, and discipline, powering through every round to stand atop the podium.
