Uzbek Restaurant and Trade House Open in Hiroshima

Hiroshima has welcomed a new Uzbek restaurant and a trade house representing Namangan region, a project aimed at promoting regional brands and strengthening trade and cultural connections, Dunyo reports.

The restaurant introduces Japanese visitors to traditional Uzbek dishes including plov, samsa, shurpa, lagman and kazan kebab, local authorities said. The Namangan trade house will serve as a hub for showcasing the region’s industrial, agricultural, textile and craft products, as well as its culinary brands.

The initiative is designed to create new export opportunities and establish direct links between entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Japan.
