
Uzbekistan’s national team defender Abdukodir Khusanov has been placed 86th in a ranking of the best players expected to participate in the 2026 World Cup.
The list, compiled by The Athletic, assessed players across five categories, including current form, past achievements and influence on their teams. Khusanov currently plays for English club Manchester City and remains a key figure for Uzbekistan’s national side.
French star Kylian Mbappe topped the ranking, followed by Norwegian forward Erling Haaland. France has the most players in the list with 12, while Brazil has nine representatives.
