Ferrari Formula One driver Charles Leclerc has arrived in Tashkent, drawing considerable attention as one of the sport’s most recognisable figures.
The Monegasque racer was greeted at Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport by officials from Uzbekistan’s National Olympic Committee. Leclerc arrived with his fiancee Alexandra Saint Mleux.
His visit comes as the capital prepares to host the FIA Awards ceremony later today. The prestigious event, held in Central Asia for the first time, will bring together top teams and leading representatives from the global motorsport community.
