2025 FIA Awards: Who Were the Winners?

The 2025 FIA Awards ceremony took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on December 12. From Formula One to karting, endurance racing and rally raid, champions across every discipline were recognised for their achievements over a fiercely competitive season.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, who was just re-elected for his second term, welcomed guests to the and praised a year defined by close battles, rising talent and record participation across global competitions.
World Rally
Sebastien Ogier hailed the 2025 campaign as his «strongest» in the World Rally Championship and is «super proud» to match Sebastien Loeb’s record of nine world titles. Ogier sealed a stunning ninth crown after finishing third in an intense Rally Saudi Arabia finale, beating Toyota team-mate Elfyn Evans by four points after a thrilling tussle.

Formula E
Oliver Rowland became Formula E world champion after a consistent campaign marked by victories in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Singapore. TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team secured their Teams’ Championship. After more than 30 years, Porsche returned to top-flight single-seater racing for the 2019/20 season. Straight up to speed, the legendary German marque finally lifted the Drivers’ trophy in Season 10 with Pascal Wehrlein. The German has a new teammate for Season 12, as Nico Muller joins the legendary manufacturer for 2025/26.

World Rallycross
Swedish ace Yury Belevskiy received title in this sport. Kristoffersson Motorsport also claimed the eighth Teams’ Championship following a season of speed and reliability.

Endurance Racing
Ferrari won the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ titles in Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain season finale, sealing the deal in style with a triple top five finish in Sakhir. To complete Ferrari’s joy, its three crews locked out the top three positions in the Drivers’ standings. Courtesy of a fourth-place finish in Bahrain, Antonio Giovinazzi, James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi clinched the crown behind the wheel of the #51 Ferrari AF Corse entry, having led the way since triumphing on home turf at Imola back in April.
After a championship battle that went right down to the wire at the Bahrain FIA WEC season finale, Ferrari clinched both the drivers’ and manufacturers’ titles – a historic first for the Italian manufacturer and its #51 crew: Guidi, Giovinazzi and Calado 👏

Lucas Moraes claimed his first FIA World Rally-Raid Championship with co-driver Edouard Boulanger. Toyota GAZOO Racing secured their sixth straight Manufacturers’ title after consistent performances from their team.

Lando Norris secured his first FIA Formula One World Championship after a season of fluctuating fortunes that led him to gain an advantage over his teammate Oscar Piastri and prevent Max Verstappen from securing a fifth title by just two points.

Action of the Year and Rookie of the Year
The FIA expanded its Action of the Year award to celebrate the most thrilling moment in each championship, as voted by fans worldwide.

The Rookie of the Year award recognised the standout newcomer across all FIA championships, highlighting adaptability and raw pace in a first full season. The title was awarded to the Formula 3 champion Rafael Camara.
With nearly every continent represented and more than 100 titles awarded, the 2025 FIA Awards ceremony underscored the global reach of motorsport and the growing depth of talent across its many disciplines.
