KazTransOil to Restart Oil Shipments to Uzbekistan

In December 2025, KazTransOil (KTO) plans to increase oil deliveries to Kyrgyzstan and restart transit shipments to Uzbekistan, the company announced.
Oil supplies to Kyrgyzstan resumed in November 2025, marking the first deliveries along this route since 2017. By the end of the year, up to 30,000 tonnes of oil are expected to be delivered to the country.
At the same time, KTO will resume oil transit to Uzbekistan, with volumes reaching up to 35,000 tonnes. Combined deliveries to both countries are projected to reach 65,000 tonnes by the end of 2025, with around 55,000 tonnes scheduled for December alone.
Transport is carried out through KTO’s main pipeline system to the Shagyr terminal, where the oil is transferred to rail tankers for further shipment.
The company credited the increase in volumes to effective and mutually beneficial cooperation with international partners.
KTO, part of the KazMunayGas group, is the national operator of main oil pipelines, managing a network of 5,200 km and providing pipeline operation services for over 5,000 km of third-party pipelines.
Kursiv also reports that in 2024, the volume of oil transiting through Kazakhstan to China and Uzbekistan reached 10.2 mln tonnes.
