A British travel influencer has alleged that she and her friend were sexually harassed during a Post Malone concert in the northeastern Indian city of Guwahati, prompting police to say they are reviewing the incident.

The influencer, Emma, who is based in Bangkok and has more than 76,000 Instagram followers, said she and another travel blogger were «touched without consent» shortly after entering the crowd at the concert, which was attended by more than 20,000 people. In a video posted on social media, she claimed the pair left the packed area within minutes because they no longer felt safe.

Guwahati police confirmed they were aware of the post and were looking into the matter, though officials noted that no complaint was filed at the venue at the time. The concert was Post Malone’s first in India and one of the largest events held in the city, coming months after Assam introduced a policy aimed at promoting the state as a major concert tourism destination.
