Top-flight clubs across the Premier League are lining up to sign Antoine Semenyo in the January transfer window, with Chelsea FC becoming the latest side to show interest in the 25-year-old Ghanaian winger.

Semenyo, who has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 16 league matches this season, has a £65 mln release clause in his Bournemouth contract that becomes active at the start of January. Clubs including Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC have already registered interest, with City reportedly emerging as favourites and potentially Semenyo’s preferred destination.

Tottenham Tottenham Hotspur FC and other Premier League sides have been linked in the past, but appear less likely to make a move this winter. Semenyo’s strong form has made him one of the most sought-after players ahead of the mid-season window, and a transfer battle could intensify before the release clause deadline.

Key Details:

  • Semenyo has an active £65m January release clause.
  • Chelsea have made enquiries but may face competition from City, United and Liverpool.
  • The forward’s standout Premier League form continues to attract interest across England’s top clubs.
