The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has added three companies to its register of microfinance organisations, the regulator’s press service said. The decision was approved by the bank’s board.

The newly registered firms are ADL MOLIYA MMT, PRIZMA KAPITAL and AVO FINANCE. The registrations were carried out under board resolutions No. 156, 157 and 158. All three companies are registered as limited liability entities.

The microfinance market in Uzbekistan has expanded rapidly. In the first nine months of 2025, the volume of microfinance services reached 104 trln soums ($8.6 bn), up 1.8 times compared with the same period last year.

Banks accounted for nearly 80% of microfinance services, while microfinance organisations provided 18.5%. Pawnshops made up around 2% of the market. Most loans were issued in the national currency, with about 500 bn soums ($41.6 mln) denominated in foreign currencies.

Kursiv also reports that activity among microfinance organisations and pawnshops in Uzbekistan rose noticeably by the end of the third quarter of 2025.
