Netflix has revealed a list of television series set to premiere in 2026, signalling a strategy focused on extending proven franchises while introducing large-scale adaptations of classic works.
The platform will open the year with two instalments of the fourth season of Bridgerton, scheduled for release in late January and February. The new season will centre on the romance of Benedict Bridgerton.
In March, the live-action adventure series One Piece will return with its second season, titled Into the Grand Line. The new chapters will follow Luffy and his crew as they encounter fresh islands and new adversaries, with the season debuting on March 10.
Netflix will also release the second season of Guy Ritchie’s crime comedy The Gentlemen early in the year. The series will continue the story of Eddie Horniman and his involvement in London’s criminal underworld.
Final seasons of Outer Banks and The Witcher are also due to arrive during the year, bringing both long-running series to a close.
Among new projects, Netflix highlighted a series adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, starring Emma Corrin and Olivia Colman. Another major release will be the detective drama The Seven Dials Mystery, based on the work of Agatha Christie. The series is written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and will feature Helena Bonham Carter in the cast.
