K-pop group BTS have announced a 79-date world tour, marking their return to the stage after a four-year hiatus and setting up one of the largest global concert runs in recent years.

The tour will span Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America and Australia, with performances planned in major cities including London, Tokyo, Munich, Sydney and Los Angeles. It will be the band’s first extensive international tour outside the United States and South Korea since 2018.

BTS previously set records with their last world tour, which generated about $246 mln in revenue and made them the first Korean act to headline Wembley Stadium in London.

The new tour is due to begin with three concerts at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on April 9, 11 and 12, 2026. From there, the group will travel through multiple regions before concluding the run in early 2027. The shows will feature a 360-degree stage layout designed to maximise seating capacity at each venue.

London will host two performances on July 6 and 7, 2026, as part of a European leg that also includes Paris, Madrid, Brussels and Munich. The band has said further dates in Japan, the Middle East and other regions will be announced later for 2027.

Tickets will be made available to fan club members on January 22, with general sales opening two days later. Billboard estimates the reunion could generate more than $1 bn through concerts, merchandise, licensing, album sales and streaming.
