Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers in 2025, marking a 4% increase from the previous year despite a complex operating environment.

The European manufacturer recorded 1,000 gross orders across its product portfolio, resulting in 889 net orders after cancellations. This activity pushed the company’s total order backlog to a record 8,754 aircraft by the end of December 2025.

Demand for widebody jets contributed to the surge, with the widebody backlog reaching a historic high of 1,124 aircraft. The year’s orders included 49 A220s, 656 A320s, 100 A330neos, two A330 MRTTs and 193 A350s.

Deliveries maintained an upward trajectory across most commercial families compared to 2024 figures. The A220 family saw deliveries rise to 93 from 75 the previous year, while the A320 family increased slightly to 607. The A330 family recorded 36 deliveries and the A350 family remained steady at 57 units.

The year also saw the entry of the A321XLR and new operators for the A220, A330neo and A350-1000.

Airbus is scheduled to release its full-year financial results on February 19, 2026.

Kursiv also reports that Uzbekistan’s Qanot Sharq officially took delivery of its first Airbus A321-200neo XLR under a long-term lease with Air Lease.
