The national air carrier Uzbekistan Airways has presented a new uniform for its cabin crew. The designers took into account current fashion trends as well as the wishes of the airline’s employees.

The colour of the uniform has been changed from earthy tones to blue, a symbol of the sky, while a marsala shade was added as a fashionable accent. The scarf, made in the «adras» style, symbolises the East with its traditions of hospitality and service.

In addition, the airline decided to differentiate the uniforms by colour for senior and regular cabin crew members.

As noted by Uzbekistan Airways, senior cabin crew members will wear uniforms in a marsala shade, while regular crew members will wear blue uniforms with a plain scarf. On public holidays, cabin crew will wear accessories made in the «adras» style.

The airline also took into account the requests of female flight attendants — instead of nude-coloured tights, black ones will now be worn. Special footwear has also been designed for male crew members.
