Take-Two Interactive has reaffirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, following multiple delays. The publisher also confirmed that Rockstar will begin its marketing campaign this summer, signalling strong confidence in the launch.

In its Q3 2026 earnings report, Take-Two stated that Fiscal 2027 will be a landmark year, led by GTA VI’s release. CEO Strauss Zelnick emphasised his confidence, saying, “I feel good about it. Very good about it,” highlighting that the company is now close to marketing milestones.

GTA VI remains one of the most anticipated games in history, with speculation already placing it as a potential Game of the Year contender. Two cinematic trailers have revealed the dual protagonists Duval and Lucia Caminos and the setting of Leonida, Florida, including the iconic Vice City.

Despite the wait for GTA VI, the franchise continues to perform exceptionally. GTA V recently outperformed Take-Two’s projections, with GTA+ memberships nearly doubling year-over-year, helped by updates such as Safehouse in the Hills. The game has now sold more than 225 mln units.

Take-Two reported $1.76 bn in net bookings for the quarter and has raised its full-year forecast to $6.65–6.7 bn, representing roughly 18% growth. Nearly half of expected annual earnings are projected to come from its mobile division, Zynga.
