Uzbekistan Tourist Arrivals to Turkey Rise 17.4% in 2025

The number of tourists from Uzbekistan who visited Turkey in 2025 reached 268,900 people, marking a year-on-year increase of 17.4%, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Leisure travel accounted for the majority of visits, with 201,800 Uzbek citizens travelling to Turkey for tourism purposes. A further 58,900 people visited relatives living in the country.
Medical tourism also showed steady demand, with 3,700 Uzbeks travelling to Turkey for treatment. Another 2,500 people went to study, while 1,900 visited for work-related reasons.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s hotel sector does not plan to abandon the all-inclusive system in the upcoming season. A representative of the Turkish tourism industry said early bookings for tours have already begun and holiday prices remain affordable for now.
Kursiv also reports that Uzbekistan plans to welcome up to 100,000 visitors from Malaysia and Indonesia over the next two years.
