
South Korean company Lotte Tour Development has announced the launch of new tours across Central Asia, covering Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Yonhap news agency reports.
Trips will run weekly from April through October 2026, with prices starting at 6.99 mln won per person, roughly $5,200. Each tour spans ten days and eight nights, offering a comprehensive regional experience.
Visitors will explore key Uzbek landmarks in Samarkand, including Registan Square, the Gur-Emir Mausoleum and the Bibi-Khanym Mosque. The itinerary also includes natural reserves in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, providing a mix of cultural and scenic experiences.
According to Uzbekistan’s State Committee on Statistics, 46,300 South Korean tourists visited the country in 2025, marking a 12% increase from the previous year.
Kursiv also reports that in 2025, the cost of museum tickets in Uzbekistan rose by 32.6%.
