Uzbekistan added 962 new accommodation facilities in 2025, including 136 hotels, 528 family guest houses and 298 hostels, officials said at the Hotel Business Forum 2026 in Tashkent.

As of January 1, 2026, the country had 6,900 accommodation facilities with a combined capacity of 185,600 beds.

The national hotel market now includes several major international chains such as InterContinental Hotels Group, Accor, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotel Group, Hilton and Hyatt.

Uzbekistan welcomed 11.6 mln foreign visitors in 2025.

Under the domestic tourism initiative Travel Around Uzbekistan, residents made 23.7 mln trips across the country’s regions during the year, underscoring growing demand for both inbound and internal travel.
