Xiaomi has revealed the full-scale concept of its Vision Gran Turismo electric hypercar at MWC 2026, following its global launch.

The project marks the first time a technology company has joined the elite Vision Gran Turismo initiative, creating a historic milestone in automotive and virtual design.

The car balances extreme aerodynamics and downforce with a «Sculpted by the Wind» philosophy. Every surface, from teardrop-shaped cockpit to airducts and Active Wake Control at the rear, is designed to optimise airflow while keeping the design clean.

Innovative Accretion Rims reduce drag and cool brakes while appearing stationary in motion. Simulations give the concept a drag coefficient of 0.29 and aerodynamic efficiency rating of 4.1.

Inside, the «Sofa Racer» cockpit prioritises comfort and intelligence. A continuous, cocoon-like interior uses breathable 3D-knitted materials, while Xiaomi Pulse and HyperVision provide adaptive AI-driven interaction, displaying critical information intuitively and responding to the driver’s state. Steering and controls integrate physical precision with digital feedback.

The hypercar is fully integrated with Xiaomi’s «Human x Car x Home» ecosystem, connecting with devices and using AI to respond naturally. Xiaomi has also developed a simulator to extend the driving experience beyond the car.

Xiaomi becomes the 36th brand and first tech company to join the Vision Gran Turismo project, creating the 51st concept vehicle. Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo producer, praised the design for resolving the balance between low drag and high downforce, calling it a potential role model for this era of electric hypercars.
