Uzbekistan showcased its tourism potential and sought new global partnerships during ITB Berlin 2026, one of the world’s largest tourism exhibitions.

The event, held in Berlin, attracted more than 170,000 participants and around 5,800 companies from 170 countries, bringing together leaders from the travel, hospitality and tourism technology sectors.

Uzbekistan’s national pavilion featured more than 20 tourism companies, airlines and hotels, presenting the country’s cultural heritage, historic cities and modern tourism infrastructure. The stand highlighted attractions along the Silk Road, as well as opportunities in gastronomic, adventure and cultural tourism.

Major industry players including Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air, Qanot Sharq and international hotel group Hilton were among the participants at the national stand.

During the exhibition, the Uzbek delegation held talks with leading global travel companies such as TUI Group, Trip.com Group and Expedia Group to discuss marketing partnerships and new tourism development projects.

The discussions also focused on attracting international events, expanding luxury hotels in historic cities and increasing Uzbekistan’s presence on global travel platforms.

Officials say the initiative forms part of a broader effort to position Uzbekistan as a leading travel destination in Central Asia, while promoting sustainable tourism and modern infrastructure development.
