VEON Strengthens Leadership Team to Boost Digital Growth Strategy

New CEO appointments at Beeline Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signal a push for innovation and operational efficiency across key markets

Global digital operator VEON Ltd. has announced a series of senior leadership appointments aimed at accelerating its digital transformation and strengthening operations across key markets.

As part of the changes, Yevgeniy Nastradin will become Chief Executive Officer of Beeline Uzbekistan, subject to regulatory approvals. He brings over a decade of experience within VEON and most recently led Beeline Kazakhstan, where he oversaw strong growth and digital expansion.

Current CEO Andrey Pyatakhin, who has headed Beeline Uzbekistan since October 2024, will transition to the role of Chief Operating Officer. The move is intended to enhance operational efficiency while supporting further business expansion in Uzbekistan.

Meanwhile, Jabbor Kayumov will take over as CEO of Beeline Kazakhstan. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the telecom sector, including leadership roles at major international companies.

At the group level, Ahmet Kayhan has been appointed Chief Payments & Digital Assets Officer. He will play a key role in advancing VEON’s financial services and digital asset strategy.

VEON CEO Kaan Terzioglu said the appointments reflect the company’s focus on innovation and growth in digital services, including fintech and emerging technologies.

All leadership changes are expected to take effect from April 1, 2026, pending final approvals.
