Canadian energy firm says output in Uzbekistan rose in 2025 while LNG and critical minerals projects advanced in Kazakhstan

Canadian energy company Condor Energies said its gas production in Uzbekistan continued to grow in 2025, as the firm also advanced LNG and critical minerals projects in Kazakhstan.

According to the company’s year-end results, average production in Uzbekistan reached 10,484 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in 2025, including 10,202 boe/d of natural gas and 282 barrels per day of condensate. Annual gas and condensate sales in the country totaled CAD 80.66 mln.

In the fourth quarter, output in Uzbekistan rose 5.6% from the previous quarter to 10,534 boe/d. Condor added that production in March 2026 has so far averaged 12,622 boe/d, mainly due to the launch of newly drilled wells.

The company said its drilling campaign in Uzbekistan began in September 2025, with three wells drilled so far and a fourth currently underway. Condor is also preparing a field booster compression project, which is expected to further raise production by lowering pressure in the gas gathering system.

Beyond Uzbekistan, Condor said it completed fabrication of its first LNG facility for Kazakhstan in March 2026. The plant is expected to be shipped in the second quarter and begin production late this year.

Condor CEO Don Streu described 2025 as a «transformational year» for the company, pointing to production growth in Uzbekistan and progress on LNG, copper and lithium projects in Kazakhstan.

The company posted total revenue of CAD 69.5 mln in 2025, while net income stood at CAD 1.23 mln.
