OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky Dies Aged 43

Leonid Radvinsky, the owner of OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 following a prolonged illness.

Radvinsky, who was born in Ukraine and raised in Chicago, acquired the platform in 2018 from its British founders. He «passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer», the company said, requesting privacy for his family.

Founded in 2016, OnlyFans allows creators to share content with subscribers in exchange for fees or tips. While the platform hosts a variety of material, it is widely associated with adult content and reshaped the online pornography industry by enabling direct interaction between creators and users.

Under Radvinsky’s ownership, the platform expanded rapidly, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Within three years, he had joined the ranks of billionaires, with Forbes estimating his net worth at $4.7 bn.

The company reported $1.4 bn in revenue in 2024 from more than £7 bn in transactions, with over 377 mln users and around 4.6 mln creators.

Radvinsky, a graduate of Northwestern University, lived in Florida and had explored a potential sale of OnlyFans in recent years. He also invested in technology firms through his venture company, Leo.com.

His charitable work included donations to cancer research institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
