OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky Dies at 43

Ukrainian-American billionaire leaves legacy in creator economy and digital content industry
Leonid Radvinsky acquired Fenix International Ltd., the parent company of OnlyFans, in 2018.

Leonid Radvinsky, the Ukrainian-American entrepreneur who transformed OnlyFans into a global digital platform, has died at the age of 43 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

His death was confirmed by OnlyFans in an official statement on March 23. The company said Radvinsky passed away peacefully, adding that his family has requested privacy.

Radvinsky acquired a majority stake in the platform’s parent company, Fenix International Limited, in 2018 and played a central role in reshaping its business model. Under his leadership, OnlyFans shifted toward a subscription-based system focused largely on adult content, driving rapid global growth.

The platform saw a surge in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, attracting millions of creators and users and generating billions in annual revenue.

Before his work with OnlyFans, Radvinsky founded a venture capital fund focused on technology investments and was involved in several online businesses, including early platforms for paid digital content.

Despite his success, he remained a controversial figure in the tech industry due to the platform’s association with adult entertainment. At the same time, he was known for philanthropic efforts, including support for cancer research initiatives.

Born in Ukraine and raised in the United States, Radvinsky built a career at the intersection of technology, media and digital monetization, leaving a significant mark on the creator economy.
