Taylor Swift brought her fiance, NFL star Travis Kelce, to the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she walked away with seven wins, including Pop Album of the Year for The Life of a Showgirl.
The ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on 26 March. Swift, wearing a pale green, showgirl-inspired outfit by Wiederhoeft with a corset bodice and velvet mini skirt, gave a heartfelt shoutout to Kelce while he watched from the audience.
“The Life of a Showgirl was inspired by the energy I feel looking into crowds every night,” she said. “This album feels happy, confident, and free because of my fiance, who is here tonight.” She also referenced her song The Fate of Ophelia, adding, “So, thanks for all the vibes.”
This marked the couple’s first public appearance together at an awards ceremony since their relationship began in 2023. Swift recalled in an August podcast with Kelce and his brother Jason how he made his intentions known after missing her during a stop on the Eras Tour at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
“It felt like an ‘80s John Hughes movie,” she said. “He was outside my window with a boombox asking me out.”
Although they started dating that summer, the pair kept their romance private until September 2023 at a Chiefs game.
Swift told Time later that year, “We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”
Since then, Swift and Kelce, who got engaged last year, have continued to support each other’s careers, from Kelce’s Super Bowl success to Swift’s record-breaking album.
“We’re just two people supporting each other and having fun with it,” Kelce told The Pat McAfee Show in 2024. “The world may try to overcomplicate it, but we enjoy every moment together.”
