The median offered salary in the management sector in Uzbekistan reached 11.28 mln soums in the first quarter of 2026, according to an analysis by hh.uz.
Over the past year, pay levels changed unevenly: while at the beginning of 2025 the median was nearly 12 mln soums, by the fourth quarter it had fallen to 10.6 mln soums.
In the first quarter of 2026, the number of vacancies in the «Top and Middle Management» category increased by 10% year-on-year, reaching 1,118 listings. This is the highest level since 2025, when vacancies ranged from 946 to 1,027.
Employer demand is shifting toward IT and marketing executives. The most sought-after role is CIO (Chief Information Officer), accounting for nearly one-fifth of all vacancies, with demand rising by an impressive 275%.
Companies are also активно seeking heads of marketing, commercial directors and CMOs. At the same time, the highest salaries are offered to production managers, with average pay reaching 32.5 mln soums.
In January, the most popular вакансии in Uzbekistan were for sales and client relationship managers, making up 12.1% of all job postings. Retail assistants, cashiers, call centre operators, accountants and teachers were also in high demand.
The highest salaries were offered to healthcare professionals, averaging 12.5 mln soums, as well as marketing managers and sales representatives, whose earnings exceeded 10 mln soums.
