Reality television star Kim Kardashian completed a sprawling 11,000-mile round trip to spend just 24 hours in London with her Formula One driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, The Sun reports.
The 45-year-old mother of four touched down in the UK on her private jet on Tuesday in an effort to maintain their long-distance relationship. After departing Los Angeles on Monday evening she landed at Hampshire’s Farnborough Airport at 4 pm before taking a 90-minute chauffeur-driven ride to Hamilton’s £18 mln residence in Kensington.
The high-profile couple remained inside his luxurious six-bedroom West London mansion under the watchful eye of their security details. Kardashian then departed from Oxford Airport at 5:30 pm on Wednesday to head back to the United States.
«Lewis and Kim are two of the busiest people in showbiz but they are determined to do everything to see each other when they have any spare time,» an insider revealed.
Following family Easter celebrations and a Monday morning photoshoot in LA, Kardashian crossed the Atlantic for the brief rendezvous.
The source added: «They didn’t have long together because she had commitments in the U.S. to get back to but it was quality time.»
Just hours prior to her UK arrival Hamilton, 41, posted his first online video of the couple together. The clip showed the pair cruising through Tokyo in a Ferrari.
The footage was captured ahead of last month’s Japanese Grand Prix when Kardashian travelled to Asia alongside her sister Khloe and three of her youngest children to support the racing driver.
