The Russian luxury brand Caviar has launched a bespoke series of the iPhone 17 Pro dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the late founder and long-time leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR).
This high-end collection seeks to celebrate the politician’s legacy, focusing on his distinctive charisma, political intuition and legendary foresight.
The design of the handset is heavily influenced by the LDPR’s official branding, with the titanium body finished in a deep blue hue synonymous with the party. The focal point of the device is a meticulously hand-painted enamel profile of Zhirinovsky himself.
According to Caviar, the statesman’s historical significance has only grown in the years since his passing, making him a fitting subject for their latest luxury customisation.
Numbered edition
Exclusivity is a central feature of the launch, with only 18 units being produced for the Russian market. This specific quantity was chosen to commemorate the date the LDPR was officially established on April 18, 1992.
Potential buyers will require significant capital to secure one of these rare items. The custom iPhone 17 Pro model starts at 649,000 roubles (approximately $8,626) while the larger Pro Max version begins at 684,000 roubles ($9,091).
The box of predictions
The presentation of the device is as elaborate as the smartphone itself. Each unit is delivered in a specialised gift case decorated in the party’s signature colours. A unique technological feature of the packaging is an integrated digital screen built into the interior of the lid.
Upon opening the box, the screen automatically plays a curated compilation of video clips. This footage showcases seven of Zhirinovsky’s most famous and provocative political predictions, allowing owners to revisit the orator’s most influential public statements.
Caviar claims the device serves not just as a piece of hardware, but as a historical tribute to a man who defined an era of Russian politics.
