Man lives inside billboard for Netflix’s “The Last House” promo

A man is spending his weekend living inside a furnished billboard 30 feet above the Sunset Strip to promote Netflix’s new sci-fi thriller «The Last House.»
The performance, which began Thursday and runs through Sunday, forms part of an unusual marketing campaign for the film, which premiered on Netflix on Friday. Positioned above Sunset Boulevard near Selma Avenue, the elevated enclosure has been designed as a fully furnished living room, complete with a lounge chair, table, reading materials, house plants and curtained windows.
The stunt mirrors the film’s central premise, in which a family of four suddenly finds itself sealed inside its home with no way to escape. As their resources diminish, they must adapt to life indoors while trying to understand the mysterious force keeping them trapped.
The performer remains inside the billboard throughout the day, carrying out ordinary activities such as stretching, eating, looking through binoculars and listening to music. At night, observers have seen him wearing a red robe and pyjamas.

Unable to speak directly with people on the street, he communicates with pedestrians using a whiteboard. He even acknowledged a passing local news helicopter with a handwritten message saying,
Who leads Netflix’s new thriller
Directed by Louis Leterrier, «The Last House» stars Greta Lee as Ann and Wagner Moura as Jason, with Riley Chung and Noah Alexander Sosnowski playing their children.
The film, written by Matthew Robinson, turns the idea of home as a place of safety on its head. The story centres on a family forced to remain inside their house while an unexplained force prevents them from leaving, leaving them to contend with dwindling supplies and an increasingly uncertain situation.
Netflix released «The Last House» globally on August 7. The 1-hour-50-minute film combines science fiction, horror, mystery and thriller elements and was filmed in London.
The campaign draws crowds
The billboard installation has already attracted attention from people passing through West Hollywood, giving Netflix a highly visible way to promote the newly released film.
The performer is scheduled to remain in the elevated living room through Sunday, extending the film’s central concept beyond the screen and into one of Los Angeles’ busiest entertainment districts.
