Meghan Markle could be preparing to add acting back to her professional portfolio as she and Prince Harry get ready for a major change in family life.
The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly considering taking on a new acting project, according to Variety, as the couple prepare to return to Britain with their children.
No details about the potential project have been made public and it is unclear whether Meghan has received a formal offer or is simply exploring opportunities. The report does not identify a film or television production attached to her possible return.
Any full acting role would nevertheless represent a notable comeback. Meghan left Suits in 2017 after seven seasons as Rachel Zane, with her departure coinciding with her relationship with Harry and their subsequent engagement.
She has not taken a regular scripted acting role since then.
A different career after leaving Suits

Meghan’s professional life changed dramatically after she left the USA Network legal drama. Following her marriage to Harry in 2018, she became a member of the British royal family before the couple announced their decision to step back from official duties in 2020.
The Sussexes subsequently established themselves in California, where they launched a number of commercial and media projects through their production company Archewell Productions.
Their output has included Netflix documentaries, podcasts and other projects rather than scripted acting work.

Meghan has recently shown a willingness to appear on screen again. She has a cameo in Close Personal Friends, a forthcoming comedy starring Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding. The appearance is not a return to a regular acting career, but it does put Meghan back in front of the camera in a scripted production.
