Kanye West’s team is reportedly considering a Moscow concert as doubts deepen over two St Petersburg shows for which tickets have already been sold, according to Russian media. For travelling fans, the unresolved question is now which city — if either — will host him.
Moscow was under consideration because the St Petersburg performances were uncertain, Izvestia newspaper reported on 9 September, citing an unnamed member of Kanye’s team. The paper gave no confirmed Moscow date or venue.
Previously, shows in St Petersburg were advertised for October 10 and 11 at the Gazprom Arena. However, the stadium claims it has no signed rental agreement with promoter Say Agency, leaving ticket buyers to choose between conflicting accounts of whether the concerts can go ahead.

Venue not found
The disagreement has persisted for weeks. On 4 September, Gazprom Arena reiterated that its October calendar contained no concerts by foreign performers.
Say Agency responded by publishing documents it said supported the launch of ticket sales and maintained that preparations were nearly complete. Earlier, its chief executive had said the shows would remain in St Petersburg.
Some customers have already sought refunds. On 26 August, St Petersburg media outlet Fontanka reported that the organiser had approved refunds for VIP-box tickets. That report did not establish that refunds were available across all ticket categories.

Another disruption for travelling fans
Central Asian audiences have already experienced a last-minute change to Ye’s schedule. His 14 August Almaty performance was postponed until the following day after severe weather, with thousands of spectators already inside the stadium.
Elsewhere, his bookings have faced political and commercial opposition over his antisemitic remarks. Britain’s Wireless Festival was cancelled after authorities denied him entry earlier this year.
