On January 31, the Uzbekistan government approved reduced customs duty rates. The new regulations will take effect in three months, as reported by the press service of the Customs Committee.
Starting in late April, the fee for processing goods on and off the customs territory will be halved.
The fee for customs clearance outside the Customs Committee’s regular working hours will be reduced significantly—from two basic calculation values (BRV) to 25% of the amount of BRV, which translates to a decrease from 750,000 soums to 93,700 soums.
