At 12:51 Tashkent time, the precious metal traded at $2,701.6 on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). By 13:35, the price stood at $2,699.5 per ounce.
The surge in gold prices reflects rising geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainties, and low interest rates.
