BTS member Jimin celebrated his 31st birthday on October 13, with fans organising large-scale celebrations across several countries and fellow group member Jin sharing a personal birthday message.

Jin posted on the fan platform Weverse, explaining that it was still October 12 in his location but the app had reminded him to congratulate Jimin.

The message came as BTS fans, known collectively as ARMY, organised events ranging from decorated public transport to charity fundraisers in honour of the singer.

The celebrations followed BTS’ three concerts in Lima on October 7, 9 and 10. During the final performance, thousands of fans surprised Jimin by singing Happy Birthday as the group addressed the audience.

In Japan, celebrations took a charitable turn. Fans organised a lemonade stand in Osaka, directing proceeds towards Child Chemo House, which provides accommodation for families of children undergoing cancer treatment.

Japanese supporters also arranged birthday advertisements in Tokyo, Osaka and other cities, while several landmarks in Kobe were scheduled to illuminate in yellow.
