The car sales in Uzbekistan reached 95,400 units in October, representing a 6% decline from September and a sharp 43% drop compared to the same period last year, according to the Centre for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR).
Sales of locally produced cars saw the steepest decline, falling 20% from September to 30,200 units. CERR noted reduced activity in the used car market as well. In October, buyers purchased 60,400 used cars. This number held steady month-on-month but showed an almost twofold annual decrease.
