Saida Mirziyoyeva and Sadyr Japarov Discuss Kyrgyz–Uzbek Cooperation in Bishkek

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held talks with Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, focusing on collaboration in cultural, humanitarian and educational fields.

During the meeting, Mirziyoyeva highlighted the Zakovat intellectual game in Bishkek, designed to encourage communication and cooperation among young people from both countries.

President Japarov underlined that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan continue to deepen as a result of the joint efforts of the two heads of state.

Mirziyoyeva added that this progress is evident in successful agreements on borders, the mutual recognition of national ID cards, the establishment of joint ventures and large-scale projects such as the Kambarata Hydropower Plant-1 and the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway.

She expressed gratitude for the warm reception in Bishkek and conveyed greetings from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, emphasising the high level of bilateral ties and the crucial role of both leaders in their development.
