Uzbekistan Airports has formalised a strategic partnership with JPMorgan Chase following the signing of a memorandum at the Uzbekistan Investor Day forum in the United States.

This agreement is set to provide the company with critical access to international capital markets, paving the way for the issuance of Eurobonds and the utilisation of other sophisticated financial tools.

The forum was held across two major U.S. financial hubs, taking place in Boston on April 13 and New York on April 14. The event focused on showcasing Uzbekistan’s investment potential and the various economic reforms currently being implemented to attract foreign capital.

During the proceedings, the Uzbekistan Airports delegation held a series of meetings with several prominent international organisations including Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Artisan Partners, Xtellus Capital Partners and Nomura Capital Partners. The delegation presented a comprehensive overview of the company’s recent transformation, including its financial performance, corporate governance frameworks and strategic plans for expanding airport infrastructure.

Foreign investors demonstrated a keen interest in the aviation industry of Uzbekistan and the potential for long-term cooperation. The new partnership with JPMorgan Chase marks a significant step forward in the company’s efforts to modernise its financial operations and secure international backing for its future development goals.
