K-pop sensation NewJeans are officially preparing to return to the music scene. The group’s management agency ADOR confirmed on Monday that the girls are gearing up to resume their musical activities following recent sightings of the members in Copenhagen.
Addressing the online chatter, ADOR released a statement clarifying the group’s current status.
They also confirmed that the trip to the Danish capital is «part of pre-production in its new musical journey.»
While fans are eager for a concrete comeback date, the agency remained tight-lipped regarding specific details.
Speculation surrounding a potential new release began to mount after eagle-eyed fans on various online forums reported seeing Hanni, Haerin and Hyein exploring Copenhagen. The rumours were further fuelled by the discovery of a confirmed studio booking under the band’s name in the city.
This upcoming project marks a significant new chapter for the group. Last year Hanni, Haerin and Hyein returned to the act following a protracted dispute with their agency. The group’s overall lineup has seen major shifts during this period; it remains undecided whether Minji will rejoin the outfit while Danielle‘s contract has been permanently terminated.
