Recent observations from consumers indicate a practical adjustment to the traditional Costco hot dog combo.

The highly publicised price point remains entirely unaffected. The popular food court meal continues to retail for $1.50, maintaining a steadfast pricing strategy that the company has upheld since 1985.

However, alongside the standard provision of a 20-ounce refillable fountain beverage to accompany the quarter-pound beef frankfurter, customers can now opt for bottled water.
For individuals seeking alternatives to carbonated drinks or Coca-Cola products, a 500ml bottle of Kirkland Signature water serves as a direct substitution.

While patrons have historically had the ability to dispense tap water from the beverage fountain, the introduction of a sealed bottle caters to a growing consumer preference for portability and convenience.

The timeline for a comprehensive rollout of this option across all warehouse locations remains unconfirmed. Nevertheless, consumer reports on platforms such as Reddit indicate that the alternative has already been implemented in select regions including California, Nevada and Virginia.

In addition to the beverage update, the retailer has expanded its food court menu with a limited-edition dessert offering. The newly introduced Caramel Churro Sundae combines the wholesaler’s signature soft serve ice cream available in vanilla, chocolate or a combination of the two with a salted caramel sauce and crisp churro pieces.
