The leak, which originated from an unshielded repository on the platform, consists of a massive 155GB of data. This accidental «early access» has allowed some users to explore thousands of game assets and even run a functional build of the title well ahead of its scheduled release.
A premature yrip to Japan
While technical details remain sparse outside of social media chatter, reports quickly flooded forums like Reddit and various cracking communities. Daring players have already begun sharing screenshots and brief gameplay clips on YouTube, showcasing the series’ much-requested move to Japan.
The leaked files offer a direct look at the game’s expansive map, which includes a sprawling, neon-lit representation of Tokyo alongside serene rural mountain passes. The process of preparing a game for pre-release download is notoriously volatile, and this latest oversight suggests that release protocols at even the largest studios remain unpredictable. Playground Games has not yet issued an official comment on the situation, though the leaked build is already circulating widely within piracy hubs.
For those who prefer to experience the festival through official channels, the wait is almost over. Forza Horizon 6 is slated for a global release on May 19. However, fans who purchased the Premium Edition are still expected to receive legitimate early access starting on May 15.
