Uzbekistan Coach Fabio Cannavaro Plans Cautious Approach for Colombia Clash

Uzbekistan national football team head coach Fabio Cannavaro has revealed that his squad will adopt a cautious tactical strategy in their upcoming fixtures against Colombia and Portugal.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference the manager shared his assessment of their immediate opponents ahead of the crucial World Cup encounter.
«We have analysed Colombia’s game — this is a team that fights until the very end,» Cannavaro told reporters.
Captain calls for fan support

National team captain Eldor Shomurodov also attended the media briefing to discuss the squad’s current mindset. He stated that his teammates are eagerly anticipating the match against the Colombians which is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 a.m. (GMT+5) on June 18.
Shomurodov expressed his hope that the players will secure a positive result during tomorrow’s game and actively urged fans to support the national side. The veteran forward emphasised that the athletes are not experiencing any undue pressure and are fully prepared for the formidable challenge that Colombia presents.
The highly anticipated fixture will take place at the iconic Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The historic stadium boasts a maximum capacity of 81,070 spectators and a massive crowd is expected to be in attendance for the group stage clash.
According to official ticketing data released on June 11 football fans had already purchased more than 74,700 tickets for the showdown between Uzbekistan and their South American rivals.
