Leaked renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A18 suggest the company is taking an evolutionary approach to its next budget smartphone, keeping a design that closely resembles its predecessor while introducing a few refinements.

According to the leaked CAD images, the Galaxy A18 retains Samsung’s signature flat frame and vertically aligned rear cameras, although the camera module has been slightly redesigned. The handset is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch display, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious users.

The phone is rumoured to be powered by either Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, depending on the market. It is also expected to include a 50MP main camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and support for 25W fast charging.

Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy A18, but the appearance of detailed renders suggests the budget handset could be unveiled later this year.
