Dubai-based luxury customisation brand Caviar has released the Odyssey collection, a premium reworking of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II smart glasses inspired by the world of ancient Greek mythology.
The range includes two versions. The flagship Odyssey edition features 24K gold detailing, while Odyssey Silver uses sterling silver accents for a more understated appearance. Each model is limited to 24 individually numbered pairs, a reference to the 24 books of Homer’s Odyssey.
Rather than changing the familiar Wayfarer shape, Caviar focused on decorative details. Metal inserts engraved with Greek-inspired patterns are built into the frame, drawing inspiration from Ithaca, the legendary home of Odysseus. Black enamel stars along the temples represent the constellations said to have guided the hero during his voyage.
Hand-finished in limited numbers

Every pair is produced by hand at Caviar’s workshop. Craftsmen make the decorative metal elements individually before engraving, polishing and fitting them to the glasses, instead of relying on large-scale factory production.
The charging case has also received a luxury makeover. It is covered in genuine crocodile leather and finished with Caviar’s signature emblem, while keeping all of its standard charging and storage functions.
The redesign leaves the smart features untouched. Users still have access to the built-in camera, open-ear speakers, touch controls and AI voice assistant, making it possible to take photos and videos, answer calls, listen to audio and use voice commands without holding a phone.
Both editions are supplied in Caviar’s branded presentation box together with the customised charging case.
Prices begin at $6,139, with only 24 examples of each version available worldwide.
