Stray Kids return with "THIS & THAT" as Seungmin limits promotions

The eight-member K-pop group released the album on Friday, August 7, at 1 p.m. Korea Standard Time through major music platforms. The project contains eight tracks, including the title song «This & That», the previously released «RUN IT» and a festival version of the title track featuring Tele.

The release follows a series of teasers built around a recurring silver truck, which appeared in the album’s trailers, tracklist video and promotional images. The concept places the members in settings including a cafe, cinema, aeroplane and hotel, creating a connected visual world for the comeback.

The group’s internal production unit 3RACHA, Bang Chan, Changbin and Han, contributed to all eight songs on the album, continuing their role in shaping Stray Kids’ sound.

Seungmin to miss several live appearances

While Seungmin remains involved in parts of the promotional schedule, JYP Entertainment said he will not attend several live events because of his rehabilitation treatment.

The singer will participate in pre-recordings for KBS’ «Music Bank» on August 7 and MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on August 8, as well as the latter programme’s mini fan meeting. He will not take part in the live broadcasts of either show.

Seungmin will also miss a Melon MUSIC WAVE event on August 7 and Stationhead listening parties scheduled for August 7 and 8.

JYP Entertainment said the decision was made following advice from medical specialists, who recommended that Seungmin continue his rehabilitation rather than maintain the full comeback schedule. The agency said it has been monitoring his recovery and adjusting his participation accordingly.

The restrictions follow an injury first disclosed in March, when the agency said Seungmin had a suspected stress fracture in his left ankle. The diagnosis was later confirmed and he has since reduced his participation in some Stray Kids activities while undergoing treatment.

«THIS & THAT» arrives after Stray Kids began their new world tour with a series of shows in Seoul. The group is now continuing its 2026 campaign with the album release and its accompanying promotional schedule.
